Bekonscot Be Together Day
This past Sunday saw our Be Together Family event take place in collaboration with Aching Arms baby loss charity, where families supported by either of the charities came together at Bekonscot Model Village.
We were really lucky with the weather. After a week of solid rain, we had a dry day, although there was definitely an autumnal feel within the air.
We had around 25 people join us for the day… mums, dads, surviving twins, rainbow babies, siblings, nieces and nephews and grandparents. It was really special to be together in the relaxed and welcoming environment at Bekonscot. A special mention to Cathy from the model village who kindly did some lovely craft activities with the children.
We hope those families that attended enjoyed looking around the model village, chasing the little trains and exploring the park. We also hope that it was helpful to meet and be together with other families who have all experienced baby loss.
