2025 Challenge – Ben Nevis

A team of Footprints families and friends climbed the UK’s highest mountain Ben Nevis on 31st May. It was our most challenging event so far, climbing 1,345 m above sea level. We walked in memory of our twins and triplets and remembered them throughout the day.

We did it! 🎉
What a challenge! It was so tough but we had the most amazing team encouraging each other.
We can’t believe that we had such beautiful and clear skies all the way to the top. The views were incredible and it felt such an achievement.
We released 205 rose petals at the top which was such a special moment and left pebbles at the summit.
As expected the weather changed on the way down and we had every type of weather – sun, wind, rain and hail. There were also a few snow patches. It was equally hard going down especially as the rocks were slippery.
We are so proud of everyone that took part, we had 8 children as part of the group. We can’t actually believe that we had such a big team climbing for Footprints, it means so much to Suzie and Sharon. We have raised so much money too, just over £30,000 with gift aid.
