Dragon Boat Day & Summer Gathering 2026

Our Dragon Boat Race has become a truly special part of the Footprints calendar – bringing together families, friends, and supporters for a day that is both uplifting and deeply meaningful.
In previous years, our team has taken to the water with incredible spirit, growing stronger with every race -even finishing first in one of our heats one year! The day is always filled with laughter, teamwork, and the most amazing support from those cheering us on.
Alongside the racing, we share a quieter moment together by the riverside, releasing flowers in memory of our twins and triplets who have died. It’s a beautiful and reflective time to honour our babies, alongside our wider Footprints community.
We are so grateful to everyone who has supported this event in the past – and we’re delighted that Fieldfisher are once again sponsoring our boat and joining us as part of the team this year. It’s also been so special to share the day with friends from The Skye High Foundation.
