Friday 9th – Thursday 15th October
Baby Loss Awareness Week is a time to remember the babies who have died, raise awareness of baby loss and, most importantly, let bereaved parents and families know that they are not alone.
This year, Footprints Baby Loss Twin & Triplet Support has something happening throughout the week. Whether you want to join us in person, online, or simply take a moment to remember your baby, we would love you to be part of it.

💗💙 Friday 9th October – Say Their Names
We begin Baby Loss Awareness Week by remembering the babies who are forever part of our families.
Look out for our Say Their Names posts across our social media channels and join us in saying the names of the babies we carry in our hearts.
💗💙 Saturday 10th October – Banbury parkrun
We will be turning Banbury parkrun pink and blue for Baby Loss Awareness Week.
Come along, wear pink and/or blue and help us raise awareness while remembering our babies.
💗💙 Sunday 11th October – Family Peer Support Day
Join us in Stratford-upon-Avon from 11.30am for our Family Peer Support Day.
A day for twin, triplet and higher-order multiple families affected by baby loss, with opportunities to meet others who understand, share experiences and access peer support.
There will also be a special time for remembrance during the day.
💗💙 Monday 12th October – Surviving Twin & Triplet Families
Our BLAW drop-in online support group for families who are parenting a surviving twin or triplet.
7.30–8.45pm
A relaxed, supportive space to talk, listen or simply be with others who understand.
💗💙 Tuesday 13th October – Loss of Both Twins or All Triplets
Our BLAW drop-in online support group for parents who have experienced the devastating loss of both twins or all of their triplets.
12–1.15pm
A safe space to connect with others who understand this particular experience of loss.
💗💙 Wednesday 14th October – TfL Cable Car Event
We are delighted to be joining Transport for London for a special Baby Loss Awareness Week event at the London Cable Car experience.
The day will include opportunities for remembrance, connection and support, alongside our partner organisations.

💗💙 Thursday 15th October – Wave of Light
We will finish Baby Loss Awareness Week with our annual Live Virtual Wave of Light.
7pm – Facebook & Instagram
We will read out the names of babies who have been submitted to us, share readings and poems, and light a candle together at 7pm as part of the international Wave of Light.
You can include your baby’s name in our Wave of Light, whether your baby died recently or many years ago.
Remembering every baby. Supporting every family.
You don’t have to attend everything. You don’t have to do anything at all.
However you choose to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, we hope you know that your baby matters, your family matters and you are not alone. 💗💙
Follow Footprints on social media for more information and reminders throughout the week.
