We have had a great start to 2025, securing National Lottery funding on our 1st birthday as a charity. The funding will help us to maintain, develop and expand our services, enabling our community to access the type of support that they need. It will make so much difference to us and to the families that we support.

We also received a grant of £2500 from St James’s Place. Thank you to Amy for nominating us to receive the grant, it is greatly appreciated. The grant will help us to continue providing much needed support for our bereaved twin and triplet families.

Most recently we announced that one of our amazing volunteers has won an award at her workplace Mars Wrigley. She was selected as a Community Happiness Hero for her volunteering role with our charity.

Kristie has been volunteering with Footprints since we launched last year, after losing her twin girls Scarlett and Brooke.

‘Kristie has been a fantastic support to our charity since we launched in Jan. She makes such a difference to the families that we support that have lost one or more of their twins or triplets. It helps them to feel less alone, less isolated and part of a community of people that understand.
Kristie is always willing to help and gives her time selflessly to help our community.’ Sharon and Suzie, Co-Founders of Footprints.

Mars have kindly given us a very generous grant of $10,000 which will help the charity so much. Thank you so much to the Mars Wrigley Foundation, and especially to Kristie for all that you do in memory of your daughters.

We are now continuing to raise funds through our fundraising – Miles in March is half way through and going really well. We are also looking forward to our Ben Nevis climb in May.

We are also really grateful to some of our community who are taking part in some impressive events in memory of their babies, to raise money for us.

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped in any way. We are sadly busier than ever with supporting families, and we hear regularly what a difference it makes.

There is such a feeling of community in a situation which feels so unique and lonely. I have sought help from other organisations dealing with baby loss or bereavement and none of it ever seems to quite ‘fit’. With Footprints I’ve found my community.”
