blogs about siblings
You can find some personal experiences which reflect on having siblings in our personal stories section.

OTHER support
You might find the following organisations that work with children and their grief helpful.

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. The charity supports children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

Aching Arms has created two animations to help explain the loss of a sibling. One is designed for younger children, and the other is aimed at older children and teenagers. These can be a helpful starting point for conversations about grief.

It might be helpful to share books with your children if they are beginning to ask questions about their twin or triplet siblings that have died. Loss Books have some beautiful books that can also be personailsed that you can find on our partner charities page:

“We have lots of pictures of them up all around the house, and we talk about them often. When I was at university and first getting to know my housemates, we were talking a lot about each other’s families, so I told them all about Charlie and Joshua.”
Jess, sister of Charlie and Joshua
